Painted doors chip if they are leaned against a radiator or carried through a hallway with a tool belt on, so they stay boxed while the carcasses go in and get hung at the end, and in frame kitchens need the carcasses dead level and square first because every gap around every door is on show. The other thing worth catching early is the plan itself. Magnet designs are often drawn from measurements a customer has taken, and a wall length that is 30mm out on paper turns into a run that will not close out against the chimney breast. We check the drawing against the real room at the survey and tell you what to change before the order goes in.
Islands are the other place to plan ahead. If your Magnet island carries a sink, a socket or a downdraught extractor, the services have to be run before the floor is finished, which is a conversation for the survey rather than something to raise on the day the flooring goes down.
